I just finished watching the final president debate, and it was … something. I won’t bore those that read this with my thoughts about tonights debate, as I don’t want to really post anything about my political views on Living Like A Boss, but it was sure interesting.
This is an election worth watching, and it has not failed to disappoint. Obama and Romney both came out swinging, but I still believe that each presidential candidate should be allowed to enter the debate stage with music fit for the World Wrestling Federation and pyrotechnics exploding. That would make this election truly American.
Now for some other news regarding my admission to the hospital.
After being told that I would be admitted at the beginning of this week for the ATGAM treatment, the medication has still not arrived. The ATGAM medication is not something that is readily available, so that is what I’m guessing the delay is. In the meantime, since my counts are getting lower and lower, my hematologist decided to do a band aid treatment of giving me two more units of blood this morning.
I go for blood tests once a week to see how my blood counts are doing, and yesterday was not a good result. My platelet level, which help the blood clot, was at 8 (normal person 25-30), and this is the lowest level they have ever been. I saw my Hematologist today, and we have decided on treatment due to my bone marrow failing, and the aplastic anemia gaining the upper hand.
Sitting here in the hosptal, getting the first unit of two units of blood pumped into my system.
After a two weeks of feeling lethargic, fighting headaches, and shortness of breathe, my hematologist ordered another two units of blood, to which I goto ambulatory care in the hospital for tomorrow. Continue reading
