I remember the hype, the glory, and the thrill of sitting in a dark movie theatre waiting with my friends waiting for the movie to start. It was the summer blockbuster of 1991, and it was Arnold Schwarzenegger’s and James Cameron forging the magic that was, and still is Terminator 2 – Judgment Day.
I had seen the music video by Guns and Roses, I had seen the previews (before the internet had made the world smaller), and by the end of the movie, we knew we had experienced screen sci-fi excellence.
Who knew that William Shakespeare wrote his own version of Terminator 2 – Judgement Day, well sort of.
Check this out, a company named Coffee Joulies has created a stainless steel looking coffee bean (not a real one) that keeps your coffee warm.
Coffee Joulies work with your coffee to achieve two goals. First, they absorb extra thermal energy in your coffee when it’s served too hot, cooling it down to a drinkable temperature three times faster than normal. Next, they release that stored energy back into your coffee keeping it in the right temperature range twice as long. – Coffee Joulies
The makers claim these little “beans” will last a lifetime, which is rare in this day and age of expendable products, but I for one am excited for any technology that assists in my coffee addiction.
